I am newbie to this forum and could finally find a way to post my question.

My Current Status:-
I am divorcee and need help in answering Part 8 Question on N-400 application. Below is what i intend to answer, let me know if any corrections.

Questions:-

1) Answering "N/A" for 8B to 8E

2) 8F, Answering Prior Spouse Immigration Status as "Lawful Permanent Resident".
That was her status when our marriage ended.

3) Answering "N/A" for 8G

4) Part 10 B Questions:-
Do i have to list all my affiliations with professional organizations in 8b ( was a member of IEEE and local cultural non profit organisation)

5) Part 10D Questions:-
I only had four speeding tickets in past 5 years and no other crime/offense.

What should be my answers to question 15 to 18

I have been procrastinating to get help in answering these questions for over a month now. Expecting to complete and file atleast by end of this year now.

Thanks again for all your help and advise.

It might have been useful for you to repeat the gist of the questions - I really don't feel like looking things up on an N-400 form.

I listed my speeding tickets (over 30 years). I also listed every organization I had ever been part of (AIChE, PTA, everthing). I figured that it helps to show my attachment to the community.

What? You don't have the whole N-400 memorized??? LOL

Section 8 - sounds ok

Section 10B - much like Flydog, I listed everything since most of it was trivial anyway.

Section 10D - ah, the age old question of whether to declare speeding tickets... Since your tickets have been recent and rather prolific (one per year?), I recommend you declare them under question 16. Be prepared to provide court certified documentation on their disposition.

Good luck

Answer Question # 15: If you were not arrested answer "No".

Answer Question # 16: Answer "Yes" since you got a citation (Ticket).
Explain in the Box after question # 21. If you need extra space attach a separate sheet of paper. If you do not have documentation about the tickets contact each court wherein the ticket was processed and then answer in the box. Remember, this can take time, but it is better to contact each court and get a certified disposition before filling in the box.

Answer Question # 17: Answer "No" here.

Answer Question # 18: Answer "No" here.

PLEASE NOTE: I am not a lawyer.
