help important about extension please!

hi frns,
i had one year multiple visa which expired on july 27th 2007, i went back to my country before it expired and then i came back before july 27th.. and in the port of entry they gave me six months visa till dec 26th, my question is i'm going to extend it through i-539 giving several reason for 4 more months.. is it ok to extend even if this was my second visit and my visa expired on july 27th?? i'm so confused and i've to take one of my exam over here on january.. what should i do? extend or go back to my country and come back again?

if you ever want to get another B1 my advice dont extend it, if possible leave now get a new visa and come back. If this is going to be the last visit ever on B1 then go ahead file for extensions but extension denials are forever increasing now.

What several reasons do you intend to provide?
