Hi, need some help in answering some questions. I'm a green card holder, and will go for my citizenship interview this Oct 20th! My bf of 7 yrs legally stated in the US for the past 9 yrs, and is currently on M1 and will be out of status on Oct.5th. What should we do to keep him legal here until I become citizen? Should we get married before he becomes illegal or wait until I become citizen?
