Your travel pattern was evidently viewed as suspicious. It likely was viewed on the basis of your nationality and places visited. While someone might regularly travel unaccompanied on business, a typical US married traveler for tourism would not make repeated trips abroad without their spouse. Would your marriage not benefit if you found places where your wife could accompany you?
