Ask the employer that issued your W2.

The employer can also issue a non-standard hand-written W-2 in case of an emergency.

i had same situation before

i lost my 1997 W2 and i got RFE at i-140 stage requesting the same, the company does\'nt have copy of it. so they got a copy from IRS it took almost 3 weeks to get it from IRS. hope this helps

If you filed your taxes (for that year) then you can get a copy of your entire tax returns from IRS.
