Help: How soon I need resposne to REF regarding employment?

My I-485 is pending at NSC. RD 4/3/2001 and ND 4/18/2001. My company will shut down our division in one month. I don\'t know how soon I can find a new job. If I receive a REF regarding my employment from NSC, how soon I need response to it? I doubt that I can find a job in couple of months under current job market situation.

Any input will be appreciated.

Can you get a letter now? I don\'t know if that helps at all. INS gives a timeframe to respond to RFE, I guess it is about 2 to 3 months.
 
Typically 3 months

From what my lawyer told me and I think the same was mentioned on the RFE notice too.
