Hi guys,
I am in deep trouble. My home country is India and currently I am in US on H1.I have applied on 09/26/01 from buffalo. Done my medical on 09/26/02 and sent FBI report on 10/15/02. Then I got one letter from CIC on 01/21/03 that my background checking is going on and it would take 6 to 9 months.Never heard of receiving any such letter. Most of the guys who did their medical received their landing documents after 4-5 months from their medical.Today I received another letter from CIC that they have not received sufficient information to do the background checking. I have also received lots of forms which looks to me as if I have to send my application alltogether again.
My queries are..
1. Has anybody experienced with this kind of situation.
2. Why CIC did not ask such type of information from me before.
3. Is this thing normal at this time when someone is expecting to get letter from CIC for asking his/her passport for visa stamping.
4.If CIC has not yet started my background checking then does this mean that they are going to take another 6-9 months or how much more time they r going to take if I send all the information within 1-2 days.
5. I hope that they ar enot going to assess my application again.
