Questions

I have to renew our EAD and for that the
greedy lawyer asks $800 as document fee
and $240 as filing fee for two EAD renewals.
Can I bypass the lawyer and apply on my own ?
If so, what documents are needed and how to
arrange and send them (esp. the photographs)
Experts, please advice. Thanks

First of all I think your lawyer is charging too much
You can download I-765 from the ins website, read the
instructions and submit the EAD yourself at the local website
or at NSC

I did it myself !!

All you need is Downloiad the form from INS Website. Take two pictures like ADIT -Style photos. include copies of OLD EADs, and copies of I-485 Recipt and ofcourse the check.

you should get you reciept in about a months time and ead in 2.5 months time.

EAD filing

Hi Filing for EAD is simple and easy, you don't need much. You need two photographs, go to any studio which takes immigration pictures and they know what pose to take. You need I765 form anf its easy to fill that form. In addition you need to attach photocopies of your earlier EAD, I485 reciept and also I140 approval.Good luck let me know if you need more info.

cheers

Thanks a buncy buddies. I-765 document does not require I-140 or I-485 receipt copy. Is it must to include these ? How do I arrange the documents-esp, the photographs? Also, can I send one check for both applicants ?
