Hi all,
I am currently holding an H4 visa (under my dad's H1B1). My H4 Visa expired in may 2004, However my i-94 has been extended till may 2007. Since i was born in Dec 1983, the attorney says that i may not be eligible for green card or any status through my dad as i will be over 21 years of age. My concerns are:

a)what shall i do and where shall i go after may 2007? I have no relatives elsewhere!
b)What will be my status after may 2005?

Further, i will graduate with an Associates in Accounting in the coming summer.

c)Can any company sponsor me under H1B1 and can it be guaranteed?
d) Is there any possible way for me to stay which i can start doing from now only to avoid later issues?

All advise n replies will be appreciated!

studious and Unitednations, i fully understand what u have written.

This is a puzzle for me right now, b cos i can't marry a U.S. citizen as i m already married and my husband is a Chartered Accountant from India currently working in Daresalaam, East Africa. He would qualify for H1 i think but the prob is finding a good employer, can u help with it as u said u r a CPA?

I did not know that rule of six years under any H visa, i thought that i would still b eligible for H1 if i stayed on H4 till it expired.

I really need someone to sponsor my husband. Thanking you again,
