Help!!H4 to H1 Stamping in Toronto for First time.

Hello,

I am going to Toronto for my first time H1b Stamping on Jan 12th 2006.
My education is from India and i wanted to know if someone has gone with similar situaltion and was approved. Also If they say that i have to go to India for stamping can i come back to US on H4 Visa ( Valid Untill Feb 28th 2004) or do they cancel the visa at the time of appointment.
