I am transferring my H1 visa from my current employer.
The start date on the transfer petition is 07/23/2007. Assuming the transfer gets approved, can I work for my current employer till 08/15/2007 and then switch over to the new job on 08/16/2007?
My doubt is, since the start date on the transfer petition is 07/23/2007, does the old H1 visa get automatically get cancelled on that day, preventing me from working for my current company?
Thsi is very urgent because my current employer will most likely not give me my salary. I want to take the salary and then shift next day to the new job.
