HELP!! Going for Stamping in Toronto; H4 3yr Approval in hand; PP expires in 8months.

Gurus,

I am running in 7th yr of H1B & received H1B extension till 9th yr( got extension of 3yrs).
We are going to Toronto for stamping in next 15 days.

Now the situation is My wife's H4 is approved for next 3yrs, her Passport is expiring in next 8 months. Now when I called up Indian Consulate they say it will take at least 15-20 days to get Passport Renewal.

Can you suggest if there is a possibility of Complication(for her H4 or my H1B visa stamping) due to this at US Consulate, Toronto.

---- Try visiting the Indian Consulate on a working day and you should be able to get your passport the same day evening (this is a practice in NY).

Normally you should not face any complication when they say that your passport should be valid for a period of 6 months
