i need help from fellow nigeria's, i am one of the dv2007 winner, when i filled the electronic application last yr, i filled single but i decided to carry my boyfriend along with me, we went to a local government for a court marriage but we back dated the marriage to be january 2006, i am the principal winner, i have 2 waec result without English but 4 credit on each, i also have American Toefl and SAT and i did National Diploma with Pre-Nd since i dont have English, the instruction says 5 credits, and am not working, i just need to hear from somebody

Backing your marriage Certificate to me is not a good idea,as there is nothing wrong in you marrying your boyfriend after the DV result.Were you able to take some pictures at the registry?
The basic requirement for the DV entry is an O'levels i.e 5 Credits and above.
My advise to you would be,if you have a way of getting your English before your interview date,do it now,while you still got the time.
You must know that neither Toefl nor SAT matters when it comes to the DV
I guess you already know by now that English is the official language in the U.S. so you not having it,doesnt sound good at all.

thanks for the reply, but my number is 2xxx and it will soon be current, there is no exam that i will take right now that will come out before october or november cos my number may be current then. and Toefl is an english requirement for somebody that wants to study abroad,i know it does not in anyway affect dv but its a recognised english language proficiency.
About the police certificate, when is the right time to go for it? do you know any kind of question for couples.

Do check on the website of the U.S labour and see if you are good at any listed there...

For the questions asked,I wouldn't know because I have not been interviewed yet!But look through the forum I am sure you will see some responses posted by some couples that their Visas has been approved,especially that of Cateyes...I think you will learn alot from that.
