Help!!! Forgot/overlooked fingerprinting appt...now what?

Hi,

I sponsored GC for my parents. They have their interview
scheduled for April 15th. Along with the interview date, they
had sent letter regarding fingerprinting within two weeks
of the letter. Unfortunately, I missed reading it and thought
fingerprinting will be done on interview day.

Now what should I do? The letter says if you fail to appear
for fingerprinting within the two weeks timeframe, the appl
might be considered abandoned.

What should I do? I do plan to go the INS service center on
Tueday (Monday is closed, ouch!).

Will the application be rejected? Will the interview get
postponed? Someone please help!!!!!

You have to talk with uscis people in person as your case is really troublesome.

write them a paper to explain what hapened.

Done with fingerprinting!

Hi! Just wanted to let everyone here know that
we got the fingerprinting done. We went to the
application support center. I had a letter
explaining the oversight and requesting
reschedule, but ASC did not ask for it. They
said, the delay is ok.

Fingerprinting got done with no issues. I hope
everything goes as planned without any further
delays or hiccups.
