Help for route security check? Thanks!

I am new in this forum, Could you give kind advice, Thank you very much!

I am doing employer base EB2, and filed 140/485 to VSC June 2003, 140 approved around Sep 2004, FP on Oct 2004, and few weeks after FP, also I saw "your case been resumed..." from USCIS web.

But most tough thing is 485, a lot of my co-worker that filed around my time started get approval notice from Dec 2004, But no any news for me.

All I got from USCIS is route security check. and VSC current 485 processing time is June 2004, and My case is almost 1 year delay!!!!!!!!

I am so sad about this, but my company lawyer told me that he can do nothing about this, because it is FBI/CIA.

And I am not quite sure what's difference between name check and route security check? like I said before, I did see case been resumed after FP, does this mean name check is OK?

Could you please give me any idea, and what should I do?

Name check

Frank, It took FBI more than 25 months to complete my name/dob check. Your case is probably stuck in the FBI name/dob check. Browse the following thread for more information on the name check and also to find the templates to write to FBI for name check status request.

Thank you very much! I heard that the result for checking should come from FBI & CIA ..., looks like not only for FBI.....
