Help for G325 during I-485 Proccess...

Hi Folks,
Need your help and advice for the below scenario :
I came on company A\'s H1 but joined company B( during Aug\'98). I did not have B\'s H1 or transfer approved but company B filed for my H1 transfer during Aug\'98. Company B started my pay check only by Oct\'98 when they got my approval. During this time( Aug-Oct) I worked for company B.
Now for completing form G325, how should I describe about 2 months Aug-Oct. Since I did not get paid from either company. During Jan\'98 was it allowed to join company prior to getting H1 transfer.

Should I show company B during Aug-Oct or company B ?

Tell the truth

I was exactly in the same situation. I contacted a renowned lawyer whose suggestion was to tell the truth. Since your working without authorization was less than 180 days you get protection under 245(K). There are no special papers etc. needed just say that you were working from Aug with the company B. You should not say that you worked for company A cos that would be providing false information which if is found can lead to denial.

I applied for my 485 in March last year and witing for approval. My case has got an RFE on 28th Jan 02 will let you know what it is about.
