Help!!! Fingerprinting in Newark

Just received FP notice from my lawyer (RD 08/09/99, ND 08/30/99). FP is scheduled for 26th of this month at Newark. Any one with experience of getting FP done at Newark, could you please answer these questions?
1. Is it possible to go right away and get the FP done before the 26th?
2. Considering the horror stories that I have heard about Newark INS ,when would be the best time to get there? Should I be there at 5 in the morning? Ideally I would have liked to go on a Saturday or is it better to go on a weekday to avoid a huge crowd?
 I would really appreciate an answer. Thanks in advance.

My FP date in Newark is 1 wk from July 8. I am planning to go on Saturday July 8, I will update you after that.
Also What horror stories did you hear ??? Please let me know so that i can be prepared ?

Thanks Sree485, I would really appreciate it if you could post your FP experience after you go on Saturday. Apparently FP takes place at a different office on Commerce street, and not in their main office at Broad Street(about which I have heard horror stories when people apply for their EAD and AP, about long queues which start forming the previous night and rude officers). \'India\' had replied to this same message I posted on the general I485 board, and he/she has said that I could comfortably go around 7 in the morning, and there is no such hassle as one might encounter in the Broad Street Office.

Do not worry. Just take the documents asked for like Driver\'s license, passport, EAD and your original FP notice. Even your SS# document will come in handy. It is my experience the best time to go is on a weekday after 2 PM> You will be out in 10 minutes.
