Help filling out I-134

hi, my girlfriend and I are filling out the i-134 form, and needed some help. She is currently a medical student, who owns her own house, car and life insurance and has substantial bank balance. The problem is that we are concerned that since she is not working, would it be a stumbling block in spite of the property etc. We are wondering if she should sign the petition or ask her mother to do the same?

That was my first guess, but when you used girlfriend and not fiancee', I thought I better ask :)
She should supply one I-134, and any other US citizen or PR can supply one as a co-sponsor.
