Hi i need some help filling form ds-230. I won the dv 2010 and have wife and son.

- in item #10 i have filled in an address in the US. I want to use this same address in #11. so under item #11 do i write " N/A " or " same as item #10"? or do i just leave it blank since it says (if different from address in item #10)

- #13 my home address is different from my mailing address because our streets are not well numbered. my home address is an area and not specific. What do i write here - the mailing address?

- 31a and 31b are clear for me (i'm going with my wife and son). However what do my wife and son fill in their own forms? will my wife list me and my son ? or is this only for the primary applicant?

- 39 :name and address of petitioner. Do we all write my name here?

- How do i attach the photos to the DS230 form? glue, paper clip, stapler?

thanks in advance

Hi Tasmania,

thanks for the reply. I have searched the forum but could not come up with any answers to my questions. Maybe i'm don't know how to search or am just plain stupid. Please sir i really need your help. Could you point me to the right post? thanks

1. Q11, instead of N/A, suggest use the address as Q10.
The pupose of this address is for mailing address for GC
And whenever you are approved for Immigration Visa and go to USA (later), you still may change the address as you wish at POE (Port of Entry). So the answer is: UP TO YOU
2. Q13, you may fill up any address where you can receive mail well
3. As instructions on Form D230 : complete one copy of this form for yourself and EACH MEMBER OF YOUR FAMILY
4. Q39, Petitionner = Primary Winner . If you are the winner, you need to put your name for yourself, your wife's and your son's.
5. photographs, suggest use paper clip. In-case during screening document/ interview, still can be earsy to be replaced.

Congratulation and good luck !

thanks VSM-007. thank you very much.

Another question please: in the instructions they say if your family status has changed since entering the dv lottery, include notification of these changes with a copy of birth certificate ....

apart from the birth certificate and relevant forms is there anything else i'm supposed to include?

thanks

Hi Kennywasswa,
I dont think you need to any certificate for this stage.
Next stage you will need to provide a lot of legal document, including Birth certificate and must match as what you have filled up on form.
for Q5, Bentlebee has advised you. I have read his/her posts, he/she is really good advisor in my opinion.

Herewith next stage's info (2nd NL) if you do CP :

I need to prepare.
I've not assets. How good (fat) is my bank statement expected to be? Can I submit a bank statement of a friend or relative.

Advise me!
I answered N/A to Q10 and 11.
I now got my mailing address and the physical address of where I want to stay in the US. Can I e-mail these information to KCC now?
