Help EAD RFE question

Could you offer some tips on this issue?
I applied EAD for my wife more than 6 months ago and never heard anything back. End of last month, when I visited the local field office, a officer told me their database shows INS CSC has send a RFE letter to us, but it did not show what the RFE asked for. It is almost a month now and I have not received the mail yet. Online status has also not changed yet. It is still " We have recived your fp...., and it will taks 12-140 days to process....".
I suspect the mail could be lost, Do you guys know what is the best way to handle this situation?

Call the AVM and make sure of the RFE, then push your lawyer to follow up with INS. As Ghost-Rider suggests, call the IIO, and ask them to manually issue an RFE after verifiying your address.

RFE has a deadline during which you must reply to the issues raised by them, so it is good to get cracking on it ASAP!
