I know this is not the correct forum to address this issue . But I need help urgently and I know there are many experts reviewing this section.

I had applied for EAD renewal ( online - 3rd extension) in nov'05
Received RFE for biometrics . Completed Biometrics in Jan'06 and sent all papers in Feb'06.
Received letter that my application is being denied becuase my biometrics have not been done . NO appeal on this decision.

Can I get this case reopened.
Please advise urgently

It is there mistake ... looks like biometric file got lost .... hmmm
1> Send them a letter stating that biometrics was done.
2> Take a personal appointment too .. using that infopass etc.
3> Apply for another EAD soon. Mine came in 1 month ... so U might get the new one fast enough.

Good luck

Since it is the EAD that has been denied (and not the pending I-485), just file another EAD application. Also, after completing your Biometrics, you would have received the original biometrics notice with a stamp that shows you appeared for and completed the biometrics. Put a copy of that notice in the application package, and put a cover letter explaining the previous rejection.

Also, in the meanwhile make sure that you quit your job on the last day of your current EAD. Otherwise your I-485 (along with the EAD) may be denied due to unauthorized employment.

My current EAD expired in dec'05. But I am on H1. H1 expires in Nov'06.
I never used my EAD. Will this have any impact on my I-485

No impact on I-485. However, get an infopass apointment to better understand what's behind the no show on biometrics.

Also, have your attorney send a letter to USCIS with a copy of your biometrics notice showing you completed the biometrics.
