HELP: Confusion on counting job order days

My lawyers notified me yesterday that my "PERM case has been denied because the job order was not placed for 30 days." The job order posted from June 1 - June 30, 2006, which appears to be 30 days. It appears the automated PERM system is counting it as less than 30 days.

Would appreciate if anybody has additional information on this issue, e.g same experience and how it was handled, is this a system glitch and, therefore, the DOL would be inclined to revoke the denial, etc.

Thanks in advance

date calculation

We use this link to calculate the days.

As you can see, if you type in 30 days from June 1st, you get July 1st.
Best wishes.

Yup, it's best to keep it around just an extra day or two to make sure that all goes through without a problem. Hopefully you did have that extra day, and have proof of it.
