HELP!!! Can I file i485 without lawyer?

Details:

Employeement based I 485,
1st time filed on 8/31/01 to NY local, no response
2nd time filed on 2/9/02 to VSC by certified mail, tracking# of the mail invalid, there is possibility that my case is lost with Post Office.

I have no word about this lawyer now. But I have to be ready to file my I485 for 3rd time. If that happens, I wonder if I can do it without this lawyer.

Probably not, but my advice

Use another good lawyer. Worth his/her weight in gold!

maybe your 2nd one is in processing.

now it takes a long time to get a receipt from VSC.

i guess you can file your 485 yourself, since i have friends filing both his 140 and 485 all by himself.
