I have my I-485 filed but only 3 month. Company will be laying off a lot of people. I was told that I could use "Unpaid Leave" to fillfull the 180 days. I wonder if INS inspect the employment situiation then, what will happen? Do they consider "Unpaid Leave" is a legal employment status? Anybody has the similar story???
