My wife and I got our I551 stamping in Nov, 2004. We changed address in Jan, 2005 and since both of us had not received our physical cards, we filed separate AR11's and also called in for the address change at USCIS. I received the address change notification at my new address. My wife's card got dispatched on May 3rd and mine on May 4th......both to the old address. While my wife's card was sent back to USCIS, mine got forwarded(luckily !!!) to the new address today. I dunno what database change was affected when we called in. My wife called in USCIS today and her address was changed and she was told to wait for 30 days within which the card would be dispatched. I also called in to verify the address on my case and they do have the new address. The question is down the line, will I have any issues regarding the address on the tag accompanying the card since that shows the old address(This is used while ordering a new card or while renewing the card).......Also has anybody had a card returned to USCIS and mailed back to the new address after calling USCIS. Any help would be appreciated....And I thought that the GC hassles were over with the 485 approval.....

so what happened in your case. did your wife ever get her green card. i am in the exact same situation with NSC. Only God knows where INS sent my green card and now they are saying that they never recieved it back either.
Please let me know. thank you. is there anyway to track down if INS ever recieved the green card back.

--------- AR11 does not change your address with service center pending petitions and NCSC 1800 is BS and many time even if you update the addrees through 1-800 the address in not changed

---------- do you men to say that NCSC 1800 told you that they have correct address? I dont think they can check your correct address, only the service center can inform you if they have correct address on record

-------------------- when you renew the card or apply for citizenship then provide the new address. I dont see any problem here and you already filed AR11

--------- others may reply
