Hi! Guys,

After seeing all these messages posted, I sent a mail to PAUL Fredrugen (Paul@rapidigm.com) asking two specific questions :

1. Is Rapidigm blacklisted by INS?
2. After getting RFE (due to company name change) were there any GCs that are approved for Rapidigm employees.

To my surprise, he called me at work and talked to me for about 15 minutes. He gave me a clear NO answer for Q1 but for Q2 he kind of said there are no problems. But he did not say \'YES\' for Q2 in clear terms and I did not force him. He also told me that every body is free to talk to him or emailing him directly. This is the first phase.

After seeing the denial message, I mailed him again with the copy of the denial message attached. But I have not heard or received any reply from him. Infact I copied the mail to Jackie, my recruiter and TNLS contact and I am still waiting for response from them. Also I tried talking IIO, but as usual, they said they do not have the information regarding this issue and the officers who actually looking into the files only knows and we cannot talk to them directly. So bottom line we cannot get information from INS.

As I did before there must be many guys looking into this messages without actually posting a message here, but all of you in the same boat get on board so that we can get to know the total number of affected people. Based on the responses I will plan for the future course of action, since it is about my career and the welfare of my family I do not want to compromise on this.

I am on the same boat, I called Jackie this morning and left a voice mail asking for what will happen to us in case 485 is denied.

What i want to know mainly is, should we go out of country immediately and who is going to proceed furthur.

Mainly, is the company with us and they ready to fight for us ?

Thanks for your posting this valuable information.
We all have to come togeather and take it serious since it affecting everybody.Thank you so much for writing to Rapidigm president.

I think we all should send email to Rapidigm Management and ask for
what is their plan of action after the denial.
I have a colleague whose employer also changed names but they have informed the INS and they are getting approvals with out any problem.
I don\'t know weather RApidigm has informed to INS about the name change.

After all these years waiting and painful waiting which is effecting
everybody in our families we need to take this very seriously.

So friends please respond to Bala\'s posting and let us do something
togeather before each of us start getting denials.

When I get a chance to talk to Paul, I am going to take up this issue. Last time when I talked to him, he said they are making changins to Rapidigm Immigration dept. and bringing on new people and according to him, we will able to see the changes in next couple of months.

He also promised that, every consultant will be able to talk to the RIS person / will be able to get at least call back from them within 24 hours in future (next couple of months). Even though I was glad to hear that from top person, but I am going to beleive that only when see that happening in reality.

I couldn\'t post anything in Rapidigm chat board. Any body tried it and it works today ?

Hi Guys,

This Wednesday (8/30) I chat with Jackie Martinez on our Rapidigm Chat room(http://www.rapidigm.com:8080/~immigration). I asked the same question about the company name change. This problem is only with 485s filed by outside lawyers not the RIS. Jakie is already talked with Nagel&Goldstei, Transnational etc.. regarding the RFE\'s people are receiving about the company name change. Rapidigm already informed INS about the name change. But still it case by case, some people still may get RFE. Getting RFE is mainly with the INS officer who is dealing with your case. All INS officers are different. Some officers let it go and some officers(who don\'t know the difference between the name change and takeover/Merger) send RFEs.
I sent a Mail to Nagel&goldstein and got a reply back, saying we don\'t need to apply i140 ammendment for name change. If they get any RFE they are going to reply to that RFE.

Regarding the rumor saying No 485 approvals for Rapidigm guys is NOT true. Jakie told she received some 485 approvals last month.

Guys, please start using the Rapidigm chat room. It is great. You can get hold of Jakie easily. She is very nice to answer all the questions people ask. She joins at aroud noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The next chat is scheduled for sep 6th.

Superstar, if they have been getting the approvals recently they can post in RIS msg board and put the issue to rest.
This will also give confidence to others who are waiting and also the company can brag about this.
Evidence is the best defence. Instead of sending emails to individuals they can list the individuals name, phone number, email in ris board so people can contact them and findout about their exp. This is my opinion. I don\'t mean to offend anyone.

I don\'t think RIS would have filed any 485 in that timeframe (between aug 98 to may 99). Either Transnational or Nagel were filing the 485\'s. It doesn\'t matter whether it is RIS or Transnational as INS doesn\'t care.
INS is not going to give preferrence to RIS over these guys.
Since they haven\'t filed any 485\'s at that time, that\'s the reason they don\'t have any rfe\'s and 100% approval(success rate) so far. Sounds confusing...

Ask her to give the names and phone numbers who got approved. You have misunderstood what she said. She never said that approvals from VSC. However there were few approvals before name change(I140,I485 with computerpeople). Last before month more than 20 RFEs got from VSC. RFEs responded back. As of now none got approved. Except 2 denial cases as of chart board.

First of all thanks to Bala. Atleast he has taken some initiation. We need more guys to participate. To my belief there may be 400
consultants who may affect by this problem. Please come forward to address this issue to protect our family and lives.

I am in sameboat. First RFE for Emp letter,W2,G325A. Got 2nd RFE to refile I-140 for name change. Not yet sent response. God only knows what\'s going to happen.

There are 3 ways this problem can be addressed.

1. VSC is right according to them. But they are unfair in approving the cases. So company can go for class action law suit for
unfair behaviour in approving cases.
2. Company has to make business alias as Rapidigm a.k.a computerpeople. Get the county letter and fight with INS.
3. As per the RFE file amended I-140 for name change.

Other than this I don\'t see any solutions.

I also did a name change from VSC485_waiter to Arjuna,as there was another VSC485waiter and it was confusing for others. So far no rfe\'s from (INS or you guys???).

My details: ND-1/99 RFE for emp letter, G325A, last 3 years w-2 recvd by INS on 6/29.
My 485 was filed before the name change.
But in the emp letter and w-2, new company names are there.
Waiting for the approval ( feeling Optimistic).

Most of the guys who got 2 nd rfe are not even visiting this board as they feel it may take another couple of months for approval and this is of no use for them as this may not help them at all.
Sorry to say this.
This thread is going to disappear at the bottom in couple of days.
lets try to do our best to avoid this.
What\'s the next action plan. Hope all goes well.

The name changed in aug 98.. is that not correct...

GetmeGC, I signed the 485 forms in aug 98 (it had Computerpeople in that) and sent it to Transnational. They took 5 months and filed in Jan 99. Eventhough i was following up with them twice a week. They said mine was filed in sept 98 and i was calling them for the receipt #. They said it will take a month. Finally in dec 98, they requested for I134 form to be signed and sent. That\'s when i came to know about this mess and never believe the attorneys.
I complained this to Monica Francisco who was incharge of this, and she was in favor of the attorneys and humiliated me by saying i would not have communicated properly. I told her that my communication is definitely very good and i am a professional not a high schooler (like how she may be).

It is too ridiculous to believe that it has taken 5 months to file for I-485..I am very sorry to hear that.
Now, we need to share the info.. Also we need to ask our company to cooperate with us and assist us by writing a common letter to INS informing about the name change, in case not done so far and in case it is needed.
Here our aim should be not to criticize any one but to get the things done faster and smoother.
Our motto should be not to get even a single denial.. which would be not only harmful to the applicant but also to the company\'s name and fame.
If any one have any ideas to present please post the same.

You have done a great job by talking to Paul. I have a small suggestion when you get a chance to talk to Paul why don\'t you ask him to post the answers for the questions you asked on Rapidigm site. By doing this it is good for all Rapidigm employees as well for company itself.

Hi! Guys,

I talked to Tasneem (Trans National), she is ready to keep us updated on our 485 issue, she preferred, us send her our email IDs so that she can send out a single mail every alternate day, so that she can concentrate in getting our problem solved and at the same time keeping us updated.

It sounds reasonable to me, so please send your email to tasneem@tnls.com and mention that your ID needs to be included in the mailing list.
