Adjustment applications and ancillary benefits – The new application fee for an I-485 is a package fee that includes associated EAD and advance parole applications. Thus, if you file an I-485 with the fee listed above, while you will still need to submit applications for an EAD and advance parole, you will not need to pay a separate fee so long as your adjustment application is pending. However, if you filed your I-485 before this fee change, to apply for or renew your EAD or advance parole, you must file a new application with the new fee for those applications.

Bad news even for those of us who filed before the fee increase, but now stuck in namecheck. This means that I'll have to cough up twice as much for 3d EAD / AP approval, unless my NC emerges cleared from the NC black hole, and I have a nagging feeling this won't happen.
 
FYI...this new Fee structure is effective from July 30th 2007 onward.
So anyone applying between now and end of July, will still have to adhere to the existing fee structure.

Correct.

Thankfully, I recieved e-mail today about aproval of my advanced parole
I hope I will not need it next year, so I will not pay a new fee then
 
E-mail update

I will I also get a paper approval notice when I do get an email imforming me that the I-485 has been approved. Or is it one or the other?

You will get physical (paper) decision regardless of whether you ever sign up for e-mail notifications. You are not required to sign up for e-mail notifications, that's just an option. Don't worry so much.
