Just heard on cnn with the terror alert now to orange they are going to implement stricter immigration procedures...don't know what that means except more trouble...

Bush Raises Terror Alert

March 18, 2003 – The Bush administration raised the nation-wide terror alert yesterday from yellow or "elevated" risk to orange or "high" risk in anticipation of an American strike on Iraq later this week. The national threat levels, developed after the September 11, 2001 attacks, are part of a color-coded five-point scale of risk, with orange being the second highest level. Administration officials warned that with war apparently imminent in Iraq, the United States believed that the domestic terrorism threat was as serious as at any time since the September 11, 2001 attacks.
In further measures to increase security, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it would detain all immigrants seeking political asylum in the United States if they arrived here from any one of 34 countries where Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups are known to have operated. The department did not release the names of the countries, but officials said the list included Egypt, Iraq, Jordan and Saudi Arabia, among others.
