Having PERM and RIR

I appreciate if someone can answer my questions,

I have a RIR case (03/2005) for software engineer position requiring masters and 0-2 years work experience.

The same company filed for my PERM (12/2006) for same position but requiring bachlors and +3 years work experience.

My PERM got approved but my RIR still in process.

Should I withdraw the RIR? Does PERM approval authomatcally withdraws the RIR case? Can I still stick to my RIR case as it has better priority date? I even heard this is a fraud.
