Does it change anything for asylees when they are having babies in USA which automaticly become citizens. It's interesting subject. What happens if parents have to be deported? Do the baby go with them?

If you are approved for asylum, why would you be deported, unless you commited a crime or something?

Just asking to see if any new rules applies. Of course not :)

that is true, but I've heard some stories about Mexican mother not deported because the kid was US citizen. could be an isolated issue, but I'm not sure. I will have a kid with my wife soon, and she is F-1 student. What happens when she finishes school, who knows ...

By law the baby has to stay with parents untill he/she is 18. So in case if we are deported, then baby goes with us, and can come back to USA when 18 years old.

Or the baby stays here with relatives. It has happened many times. Parents are deported for being illegal and the citizen kids stay here with relatives.

check it. should be 21, not 18.

The kid can come back to US with a legal guardian any time He/She needs to when under 16(18?) or by him/her self over 16(18?).
