Haven't receved SSN yet

hi guys!

how's everybody! hope everyone having a great new year! im just wondering how long should i receive my social sec number. I have applied last nov 20 and still havent received the card. I cnt find a work either since most interviews that i had have been asking for my SSN and my EAD seems insufficient. Thanks in advance!

Hey Camster

Not to worry , u sound depressed man. Uscis takes there own sweet time and so does the social security office, They have to send your documents to dhs for approval take a month to complete and get your card.
So what happened in your interview, which place was it???? Mine too in sacramento,ca that lady was soo bias she said the things no one would dare say in america. Well i guess they can say anything they r the boss.

I was in a situation where my original social sec had a diff name than whats on my GC( there are 5 names on my passport) i went to the se sec office on the 1st of december(before 485 was approved) and they said they have to send it to USCIS to make sure thats me. So i finally received my updated social security card last Friday... I'm in the New York area... i'm thinking you might want to touch base with the social security office... good luck.!

Cam, still not SSN. I guess the holidays slowed it up even more. Looking at your timeline, you should be receiving your card soon. Why don't you call the "Almighty Immigration" and inquire about your paperwork. Maybe someone will decide to give you a break.
