It is too bad that someone had to wait 1 year to get an interview. Instead of endless waiting, Can I just ask them face to face about my case. Since I happened to work in a building nearby the office. I plan to visit them everyday...will that be any help? :mad:
 
You have to keep bugging them about your case until they get tired of it and do something about it. My advise would be to write them every month also or even write a state senator, they can also help.
 
If you mean Federal Plaza 26, then you can't bug them everyday unless you have time to go through all the check points and waiting areas. If you do have time, an office would be looking at your records on the monitor and tell you the same thing all over.

If you mean Garden City--there's only paper request for information.

But you should do what you can--otherwise you would think that you could've done something and you didn't.
