Dear All

I have won the DV 2007 Case 2007ASxxxxx955
My interview was scheduled on Aug 1st, while processing my papers i have got job in Saudi arabia, i moved there and i cam back to Amman - Jordan on the interview date, i managed my papers, certificates and police papers from my country i applied from - Jordan - Later in the interview, the consular told me i have to have a police certificate from KSA, She gave me back my passport and told me to come back again when i complete the papers, what is the way to go back again? go in person or mail the passport and papers? did i lose my visa?
Anyone can help? information similar cases? once there is certain number for DV visas, was mine reserved until i am done?

why are you wasting your time? Why don't get a police certificate and then go back to embassy in person? Didn't she already told you to come back again?
 
They must have given to him a paper on which are clearly stated missing documents. If he/she did not live in KSA more than 1 year, then he/she does not need any police report. I am not sure whether it differs depending on the consular office.

It seems something wrong ...But the best way is to obtain police report from KSA and go to consular office once again.

I am dying just to know how this certificate be done, i am not saudi citizen and proc seems hard, i hope i can get it on time ... this is the worst i have ever faced

please lead me how to get it, does my employer have to do some papers? shall i go to police stations? what to do please tell me exactly if you please...

i am living there less than a year, and i keep come and go once every 2 months i mean i havent stayed for more than 3 months in ksa one shot, but the consular told me i need it badly, i dnt know why, u have 3 options in KSA, working, Jailed or kicked to you country .. i am fine so why the PC???
how many days i have to prepare my missing papers? is my visa reserved or it will be once my papers complete?

Maybe for KSA they want to know police report, somebody here writes that obtaining police report in KSA takes 10 days, you have to apply as soon as possible to get it. Because visas are not reserved.

Dear Jordanian brother,


Where are you right now?



If you are in Saudi Arabia ….



go to the American embassy or consulate (Riyadh, khobar, jeddah) …after 1330H KSA LOCAL TIME …call the embassy or consulate first….talk briefly with the officer…

take the notification latter with you……and one photo…..



ask the immigration officer to give you a request letter for Saudi police clearance certificate…..the request letter is a ready form ….the immigration officer in the American embassy or consulate will just fill it in few second and stamp it ….free of charge….



Take the request letter and stamp it in foreign ministry of affairs ….30 Saudi riyals…

then go to the police head quarter …..Taxi drivers know where is it …

Carry a copy of your passport ….original and a copy of your IQAMA ….. One or to photos I am not sure……

Make sure that the officer will right you name correctly……

The officer will tell you to come back after 10 days …..


After you receive the certificate translate it to English
 
Hish, I am a Ghanaian, i really like the way you have dealt with this issue. I am quite sure Lokas should follow this process and God's willing the problem will be solve.

I have called the consulate in jeddah, they said exactly like HISH did, you are great my bro, i left yesterday to ksa abd came back to amman today embassy in amman asked my to show up in 8-8-2007 to run admin process, it seems my issue solved, i have never live 6 months in KSA i mean i used to go home every 2 months then may be i have nothing to do with the police cert i believe, i dnt know why they want me in amman, i have swore in the interview and all friends said if you swore then you gota have the visa??
any way i have sent an email to AMMAN embassy, the respond 2 days later i explained my case and they seems contacted the embassy in jeddah, i never knew if i havent live 6 months continuosly in ksa then i may skip the pC from the police there, a friend said i have to proof i was in and out KSA and i can all borders stamps show that, so is this okay with me now??

If consular officer told you that you need to bring police report from KSA, just do it as soon as possible. Dont try to proof anything.

Today i went to the second interview as they asked me to appear to run some administrative processing .. the consular asked about my family members .. my brother and sisters and it seems they know alot about us, it is weird my brother is 18 and sisters are 16 and 17 ??? she also said no need to get saudi police certificate since i havent live there 6 months continuously ..
i chilled but it was not the visa i got, they said my file have to be sent to Washington to have some administrative checking and it should not take more than 4 weeks? have I been politely rejected? why my file has been forwarded to the Washington offices?

no same thing happened to me ...they told me "wait we might call u" and i guess it is for security check up:confused:
