Have to re-schedule the N-400 interview. Please help !!

My N-400 interview is set for May 7, 2010, and I am NOT able to come to the interview. Have to re-schedule. Could any body here tell me what to do? What procedure should I go through? Can I pick up my own interview date when I re-schedule it with USCIS?

Send back the interview letter and let them know you can't make it. They will send you a new interview letter with a new date and time.
 
you cannot pick your date. you have to submit reasonable reason for re-schedule. I think you have to be prepared for 2 months delay. Kindly let everyone know progress in your case.
