Have to go to US for biz trip before winning spouse lands in the US

My spouse who won the DV will go to the US in August this year, but I have to go before that for a biz trip. Does anyone know whether the embassy here will refuse me B1/B2 visa due to immigrant intent? Surely I will not be able to use the I-551 visa before my spouse does.
 
Your wife should accompany you (as a vacation)! From what I know (but I'm not a lawyer so others please correct me if I'm wrong) they won't let you use your B1/B2 visa now that you have an immigrant visa in your passport (you cannot have immigrant intent if you use a B-visa).
 
If you already submitted DS-230 or I-485, it is very unlikely the consulate will give you B1/B2 visa. But theoretically it is still possible. You need to prove you will return from that trip in time.
 
Sorry, I read your message wrong and thought that you already have a B-visa and that you and your wife already have the immigrant visa... If that's not the case: I agree with raevsky
