My wife and I already have our empoyment-based immigrant visas to the US and have not left yet. She's the principal applicant; I'm her dependent. We have been married for 1 year and 2 months now. At this point in time, our marriage is under siege and legal separation is actually in the talks. She told me that I should definitely come with her to the US since we both worked for it and we can still remain friends.
We married in good faith. We love(d) each other and we didn't want to be separated from each other. But things changed. I just want to know what this circumstance might affect on both our immigration status right at present and in the event she files for some sort of legal separation within months when we get to the US, and if ever we get divorced.
