Have student visa for US... can I arrive by boat?!

Hello all

I qualify for a student visa for the US. I have always wanted to go on a trans-atlantic cruise, so I would like to arrive in the US (from the UK) by boat.

Will this be ok, or do I have to arrive via an airport?!

Note I will have a valid visa when I arrive.

Any advice appreciated.

You can come any legal way that you want to. They might be curious as to why you chose a cruise, but you can just tell them you felt like it

Thanks for the reply. That's great to hear. I thought maybe they'd be all weird about people with visa's arriving by boat.
