I am convinced to apply for naturalization by the first week of FEB 2010 ( under the 4 year + 1 day rule). In the 4 years and 1 day span of time i have (or will have by feb 2010 , as I am not planning to travel any time soon) 3 trips, the first being 173 days, second 77 and 3rd 79 days abroad. as none of these trips exceeds 180 days ( evev though the 173 days comes close) is it likely that the IO to demmand proof for showing that I had maintained ties with America? If at all how do i prove that ?
1) My dad owns the house I live in ( my dad is a USC and at the moment spending his retired life in India), so i do not pay any rent, or mortgage, or have any ownership in the property.
2) I hold bank accounts , personal and also a joint account with my dad ( the mortgage is paid , on autopay from this joint account if that would help ), and have the same address on them all along.
3) I dont have utility bills, for the time i was spending abroad i was not paying any utilities, no electricty, cell phone, regular phone, or cable.
4) My Car's Insurence and Registration was active and being paid.
5) I had filed my taxes.
IS MINE A COMPLICATED CASE ? WHICH IS LIKELY TO BE ASKED ALOT OF QUESTIONS ? AND BEING DEMMANDED MORE PROOF ?
IS MY CLOCK GOING TO BE RESET AND START COUNTING 5YEARS FROM OCTOBER 2007 ?
