I moved to new state(in TSC) after I got my I-140 with the same company(old state was in Nebraska service center). I have filed for new labour but it is taking too much time. Is there anyway I can expedite processing? or I can apply for adjust of status for I-140 to new state or apply for 485 from new state now? is there any way to speed up the process and not wait for labor and all the other processing allover again?

please respond if you know some thing regarding this or if you heard somebody did anything in this situation?

thanks

I do not know for sure but my feeling is

that you do not have to do your LC all over again. You can file your I-485 straight based on your existing I-140 to new region, i.e. TSC. I am pretty sure that we saw an approval lately (last 3 weeks or so) where one guy had LC and I-140 from different region (I think it was NSC) and then he had his i-485 approved from TSC.

Please brouse through the remarks area of the TSC report in tracker www.e-narobi.com/aos and look for a recent approval where person;s comment is that he was from different region.

There is no need for you to do another labour!!
Why you what to do that??
You file 140 anywhere and 485 at a different location.
It doesn't matter.
I filed my 140 in VSC and did my 485 in TSC.
You have 2 options now:
1. File I-485 in TSC and give your present address.
2. Else file I-485 in NSC and give some friends address in NSC.
Option 2 is good since NSC is faster than TSC.
Thanks.
