Highly appreciated to any response in advance.

Have a Material Science PHD and Computer Science Master, currently working in IT field.

Can I still apply for EB or NIW by using Material Science PHD? What chances out there since not working in that field any more?

Not very good unless you can somehow establlish your expertise.

EB1-OR maybe better

Looks to me EB1_OR may be better in your case, since NIW requires the continuation of research...
