Has anyones case status changed wording

Previously my case status said we recieved you application on so and so date and this kind of case takes 360-390 days to process this kind of application ............etc

now this is what it says .....
Your N400 APPLICATION FOR NATURALIZATION was received on December 7, 2005. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates.

application date: 12/ 7/2005
fingerprint: 12/18/2005
interview : ??
 
I just noticed a similar change on my status page. Interesting if anyone else had a same change.
 
All cases seem to have same status!!!

I did my finger printing TODAY!!!!!!!

update customer set status='WHATEVER IT SHOWS!"; (Without a where CLAUSE)
commit;

Looks like a big error to me?

Actually, the "new" message you noted was always an "old" message for me. The reason - I applied later in 06'...

So, no twilight zone :)

I do not think that this represents status change at all. Certainly, it has nothing to do with FP etc. I guess someone at USCIS wanted to change the wording of the standard message.

From what I can observe, on-line case status is not very useful, except for:

a) When it disappears (all of sudden).....It signals IL is coming in few days

b) If it does not show up at all for you.....then it means that probably there is something wrong with your application (it is not in the system)
