My I140 was forwarded to NVC when it\'s approved even though I didn\'t ask for CP. I\'ve filed I485 last month but my lawyer just received PK III yesterday and on the cover letter it said that mine original I140 and LC has been sent to the US consulate in my home country! Shouldn\'t NVC check with applicants first before they did that?
My lawyer said CSC will automatically ask NVC to send the files back to CSC once they received my I485 (true?). If it\'s not at NVC then they will request the consulate to do send them back. Isn\'t this going to delay the case tremendously?
Is there anybody in the same boat? Does anyone has any experience about this? How long will it take to transfer my files from consulate back to CSC? Thanks a lot!
