My wife has applied for naturalization via the 4 year + 1 day rule (actually after 4 years + 6 months 5 days since her long trip).
I would like to ask anyone in this forum who has applied and recieved the citizenship via this rule. Also what preparation does she need to do for her interview?
Her long (more than 1 year) trip ended on 01-Aug-2006.
Technically she will be completing her 5 years in Aug-2011.
What documents are needed to prove her ties before Aug-06,
Can someone help in this matter, she completed her studies back home and hence she took a 1 year + trip before Aug 06. She was applying for universities as well in the US for further studies while she was back home.
Please advise for the documentation needed for the interview or if anyone had and/or heard of similar situations
