my parents in law applied for visitor visa for the first time in march through a drop box in hyderabad. They are both 60+ and their kids - one gc holder, one citizen, have been here over 12 yrs. They've never visited the us. They were denied bec the application required an original or copy of all 36 pages of the passport of their son/daughter. a copy of the sponsor's passport was included but not of the blank pages obviously.

it appears that they have decided to not give the visa and i'm afraid that they will refuse again. they work there, have property there and have never visited which should all prove they'll never stay here!

anyone else asked for the same?

Under what section of the United States Immigration and Nationality Act were the visa applications denied? Typically it is one of the following:

214(b): potential immigrant
221(g): inadequate documentation

Based on the information you have provided, I am inclined to believe that it was the latter. If so, if your parents-in-law re-apply with the additional documentation, there is a fairly high probability of success. If the applications were denied under section 214(b), then a bunch of additional documentation would be needed.

There are hundreds of places all over the net where they mention that you NEED TO PROVIDE EVEN THE BLANK PAGES OF SPONSORS passport. Looks like you didnt do the homework.
