Has anybody waited 6 month for Refugee Travel Document

Hi Everybody again,
I wrote a couple times here but never really got the answer that I wanted, Is anybody here that waited 6 month or longer for a Refugee Travel Document? I applied January the 7th mi LIN numer is 0307xxxxxx, and my case is not approved, I also Applied with my Family The end of 2002 for a I485, everybodies case is Approved mine not because there was something wrong with my Singnature, on that one LIN is: 0204xxxxxx, do you guys think thats why my Refugee Travel document is not arpproved are they waiting till my I-485 is approved, Please Reply if you have information. Thank you

My brother has just applied for RTD earlier this month. I can post the progress here as it proceeds. Few days ago he has received a notification saying they have received his application along with LIN xxxxxxx. His check for $ 110.00 has also been cashed.

That was present, in past between me and my brother we had applied for 7 RTD's in past 6 + years. The wait has never been more than 3 months. Last year my brother's RTD arrived in 40 days of applying. The reason I had not posted this in the forum because in my opinion our experience would not assist you in determining WHY your RTD has not been processed.

I applied for RTD in Mach 17th 2003, and received the actual doc in March 3rd . I just got myI-485 approved too. that's my second time applying for RTD and it never took more than six weeks for them to send u the doc. What date did u tell them u were travaling? that might play a role too.

I received mine in 1.5 months. Although I did not include my previous RTD, a letter came that requested my previous RTD. As soon I sent it, I got my new one in 3 weeks.
 
I too received my RTD in about 1.5 months.

Hashem_l, based on your screenname I have taken the liberty to assume that you are from an Arab country. You wrote in an old post that you lived in Germany for six years. Unfortunately, so did many of the 9/11 terrorists. So I doubt the BCIS will grant you the RDT until they receive clearance of your background from the CIA.

This is in any case my suspicion.
 
I have applied June 3rd

I applied for my RTD june 03, 2003. Last year when I applied, I got it in 30 days! I dont know if the processing dates on NSC are valid or not? They were processing 10 march 2003 receipt date on APRIL, MAY, JUNE 16th..So i dont know whats going on.

I am getting married this Septebmer and I hope I can get it so I can at least attend my wedding phew!!

Has anyone tried using the expedited service by some lawyers??Has anyone applied in April and gotten it in may or june?

I am not aware of any service that provides an express option to obtain RTD. If someone knows about such service then please share it with us here ....

There are people who claim they can expedite the issuance of BCIS documents--for a hefty fee. I would treat such claims with the utmost caution. They are almost certainly scams.

Only an unusually dire situation can convince the BCIS to act on your case out of order. Most life situations we face do not qualify.

thanks to everybody for writing, I am happy that so many of you guys trying to help me, Actually last year it only took me 3 or 4 weeks, but these time I dont know, maybe because I called so many time try to Expedite my Case, otherwise I dont know why would they take to long, I gues I just give up I dont think it is going to be approved, and I tried almost everything, but thank for the replies anyway.

Mine took 4 and half months :(
