Has anybody got I-485 receipt lately?

My wife's I-485 application was sent to NSC USCIS on 7/26. But I haven't received the receipt. I wonder how long it takes to get the receipt lately, or if there's anything wrong witht the application. How to find out? Thanks.
 
Same situation here dude. Anyone else in the same situation????? My application was rcvd there on 7/28 (based on delivery confirmation). But no news yet from the center.

I file early aug, 2006. No news yet!!
I would like to know the USCIS will also mail my employer and me the notice letter or notice letter is only for lawyer?
I will update you guys if I receive.
 
same here

Mine was delivered on 7/25 and no receipt notice yet. My paralegal says, it typically takes 4 weeks and I will be the first one to know about it.
 
I finally got news from my attorney that a part of my receipts were received. Namely the 485 receipts, but no news about my wife's 765 or our 131s. But I guess receiving one receipt means the other might be on the way.

One doubt I had was that the RD on the 485 receipt is put as August 11th, though it was received at the center on 7/28. What is that all about ? Would the application still accepted even though it is past the August 1st deadline (according to the RD) for accepting EB2 - 485 applications.

It took me 3 weeks total.

No receipt for me also

they received my packet (I had delivery confirmation) on 8/17. Up to today still no receipt; check has not been cashed yet either! for those who are getting their receipts, is NSC keeping it or are they sending it to a different center? My I-140 was approved in TSC so some people are saying here that they will send my I-485 there also.

great!! do you know if it was going to stay at NSC or moved to wherever you I-140 was approved from (assuming different from NSC).

I applied for i140, i485, ead & advance parole on 15th of august 2006. Still havent received the receipt and the checks havent been encashed yet either.
Is there a maximum time limit which anyone knows of within which we get the receipts? My file was sent to NSC.
Did anyone ever call USCIS and found out their file on record even before the checks were encashed?
 
I haven't called yet as the phone message says not to call before 30 days have passed. and since we'd be getting the national line I seriously doubt the person we speak to would really know what is going on over at the NSC!

UPDATE: I called and the person said "you're not in the system yet; give the NSC another couple of weeks; and wait until your check is cleared"! :mad: well, that was pretty much what I had expected anyway.

any updates on ur application, my checks still haven't been encashed and the application hasn't been returned as well.. One of my friend's application was returned as there was a mistake in his check.
 
Cash checked finally!

My check was finally cashed when I checked my bank online! Hopefully, the receipt will be mailed sometime this week.
