Chat User : Does it pose a problem in the GC process if an I-485 applicant is making 10k less than what is specified in his Labor Certification.?
Attorney Murthy : Depends on which stage in I-485. Namely is it the same employer and same job or a new employer with similar job or similar job with original employer so as to benefit under AC21 after 180 days. Generally, if same or similar job and AC21 law portability provisions apply, it may be fine to continue the GC as long as the salary is not so low as to pose a "public charge" issue.
