1. Has anybody apply for H1 visa stamp (revalidation) recently at Ahmedabad drop box facility ?

2. What if your I-485 just file and won't have AP with you, do we still get H1- visa stamp on passport with appoved I-797 ?

3. What we have to mention in the column, that have you ever file greencard, if yes whether it make any negative impact ?
(becuase I know H1 is dual intend)

4. For H4, does my wife need to wait until I get stamp on my passport ? or can we send to geather or she can send before me as she also has her H4 extention approved ? (I know Chennai consulate prefer H1 stamp first before issuing H4 visa, I don't know about Mumbai)

I am sorry I dont have an answer to your question because I am a step backward than you are.
Actually I have a question about H1B stamping.

I had come to the US in F1 visa which has expired now. My OPT period has expired and I have become out of status. Now I have got an employer who is willing to sponsor for an H1B visa. I have learnt that I may need to got out of US for H1B stamping. My home country is India and it will be more expensive for me to go there than to go to say Mexico. As an Indian national , can I go to say Mexico for getting my H1B stamped. Under what pretext/visa can I go to Mexico. Are the chances of getting an approval affected by where you are getting it stamped from.

What certificates and evidence/proof is expected to be shown to the authorities. In specific, will I need an experience certificate from all the employers that I have worked for.
