Has any June 2001 RD Cases been approved after receiving RFE?

Guys,
Has anybody whose RD is June 2001 been approved recently after receiving RFE for their I-485 application. If so please pass on what the RFE was for and when did NSC acknowledge receipt of the RFE.

My RD is 06/15/01 and lin # is 01-229-xxxxx
I received an RFE on July 9th and found out from lawyer that the RFE was for an updated employment letter.

my case..

Mine is one of the 4 cases.

RD - 6/1/01
ND - 7/13/01
RFE sent on 6/5/02 -
Birth affidavits for Wife and Birth Certificate translation (original was in local language) for son.
No RFE on my case but AVM was unchanged (Processing resumed after FP....)
RFE responses received by NSC on 6/29/02.
All 3 cases approved on 7/10/02.
Recd courtesy copies on 7/13/02.
Attorneys received original approval notices on 7/17/02

Hi

Did you change your Residence address after filing I-485?

My received date is 06-13-2001. No change in status so far.
 
AVM Update : Response to RFE was received. What next?

Guys,
The AVM says that the response to my RFE was received on July 23rd 2002.
My lawyers had sent the Updated employment letter on July 19th.

Does anybody have an estimate of how long does it take from here on since the AVM says processing will be done in 420 days from now which I think is BS.

Hi bvriyer1,

My RD 06/07/01, ND 07/23/01. I got RFE for updated employer letter on July 16th and my attorney has responded last friday. Hope will get approved by another 2-3 weeks. Anyway update your info when it gets approved.
 
Last time I checked on 06/31, same message

I have been trying to check the AVM since the last two days and there seems to be a problem with it. There is a seperate thread on this going on.

Please keep me posted with any of your updates.

BABS, Any Updates:

I am hearing a new message now, but the gist of the message is that they are still working on the case.

As of last week, the AVM was saying : "Your documents for the RFE were received on July 23rd and processing has begun on this case"...

Update

Mine is also the same thing. AVM says now about "Finger Printing" which is the previous message before RFE. I think it should be some database problem. Today evening also i checked, still it is the same.

RD: June 29,01
ND: Aug. 15
CAse# Lin-024-3xxxx
RFE: aug, 01, 02 for employment update document.
Send the letter of employment to IRS on Aug. 07, 02

My attorny say it takes IRS 4 to 5 weeks to approve this kind of cases, what do u think?
 
Gig, did u change jobs? If not, why are they asking about Employment update Doc., that too after over a year?

And did you Mean INS (rather than IRS)?

Looks like its become a standard procedure

I don't think there is any logic on why "RFE for Updated Employment" is being issued.
I have worked for the same company for the last 4.5 years or so and yet received the RFE asking for Updated Employment letter.

I agree with bvriyer1. There are no logics for INS ( sorry, not IRS). For me, i worked in the same company the all process.
