My Hartford passport stamping experience is very similar to CT_waiting experience: everything went off very smoothly, very fast – just about 12 minutes total in the building with infopass appointment at 7:45 a.m.
The friend of mine did the same next day after me but at 12 p.m. – he spend in the building more then 2 hours. Moreover, he did not find the parking lot across the street and got a parking ticket. But he received his GC sooner then me finally. :)

My Experience

love_immi,

We had an appointment at 2:30 and 2:45. Got parking in the lane right opposite to the court house (where the INS office is). We parked in the same spot as other couple who also were in INS (as I saw PP in their hands). Meter still had 45 minutes left in the meter, so we did not even need to put the coins as we know INS office is open till 3 PM on Thurs (30 Dec) and it was almost 2:30.

Went into the office (4th floor # 456, you can see once you come out of the elevator), and contacted gaurd who took our appointment letters and came back with 2 tokens, went into the room (on the side of the room opp to counters), submitted our FP and signatures, and waited for our turn.
There were around 10 people over there. After 5 minutes we were called, and we are done with our stuff and out within 22 minutes (I could calculate from parking meter :D ).

Documents I took with me are Approval notice, 2 Passport Pictures (taken from Costco), I-94, AP & EAD's.

Important Tips
A) Make sure you write your name and A# on the back of pictures with pencil. They were very particular about that.

B) Remember the building name Ribicoff Federal Building, which is very helpful just in case if you are lost and are in need of directions. I was kind of lost, everyone was asking the name of the building. Once my friend mentioned about "Court House", which I told a woman, and she guided perfectly to the spot.

C) I put the approval notices, I-94, EAD and AP together for both, but the clerk has asked me to make set of all those docs for each person seperately, rightfully so, as they put the doc set in a cover (may be for Card Processing), and that caused some delay. So, my advise is to make the set of the above documents (Approval notice, Photos, I-94, AP, EAD) for each individual person seperate.

D) Make sure you have the copy of the doc set that you will be submitted them.

Hi Folks,
Got PP stamped today. 485 was approved on 12/30/2004. Got approval letters on Jan 7, 2005.
I got infopass appointment for Jan 24, 9:00 am (today)

Reached at 8:45 am . Parked across the building on the street.

Entered the bulding . BCIS office is on 4th floor.
At info window, was given Token. As well got Finger Printing done at other window. NO line there. (right index finger)

I was called in 10 mins. The lady asked for
1. Infopass appointment letter
2. 485 Approval Notice + 2 Photos with Alien # written at the back with pencil + EADs + AP's
(my advance parole was expired still I submitted those)
3. Passport with I-94

She kept all docs and returned my passport with 1 yr stamp . Told
me that i should get my card in 3-6 months.

I was out by 9:20 am. Piece of cake...

Good luck y' all
